Okanagan Wineries ("the App") is a free iOS application that helps visitors discover and explore wineries in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to being transparent about our data practices.

Data Storage
All data you create within the App — including your favourites, star ratings, visit status, and personal notes — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party. If you delete the App, this data is permanently removed.
Network Access
The App does not make any network requests. All winery information is bundled within the App itself. The App functions entirely offline without an internet connection.
Analytics and Tracking
The App does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or tracking technologies. We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or any form of device fingerprinting.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. No data is shared with any third party.
Location Data
The App may use your device's location to show your position on the winery map. This location data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted, stored, or shared. You can deny location access and the App will still function — the map will simply not show your current position.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal information is collected, there is no risk of children's data being gathered or shared.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. If we introduce features that change our data practices (such as user accounts or cloud sync), we will update this policy accordingly and notify users through the App.
