By downloading, installing, or using the Okanagan Wineries app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Okanagan Wineries is a free iOS application that provides information about wineries in the Okanagan region of British Columbia, Canada. The App includes a winery directory, interactive map, and personal tracking features (favourites, ratings, visit status, and notes).

Accuracy of Information

Winery information in the App — including operating hours, contact details, amenities, and wine offerings — is provided for reference purposes only. While we make every effort to keep information accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee its accuracy at all times. Wineries may change their hours, offerings, or availability without notice.

We recommend contacting a winery directly to confirm hours and availability before visiting.

User Responsibilities

• Do not rely solely on the App for navigation. Use appropriate mapping and navigation tools when driving to wineries.
• Verify operating hours and reservation requirements directly with wineries before visiting.
• Please drink responsibly and never drink and drive. Designate a sober driver or use alternative transportation when visiting wineries.

Intellectual Property

The App's design, code, and original content are the property of the App developer. Winery names, logos, and related information are the property of their respective owners and are used in the App for informational purposes only.

No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Future Premium Features

The App may introduce optional premium features in the future, available through in-app subscription. Core winery directory and map features will remain free. These Terms will be updated to reflect any premium offering, including subscription terms and pricing, before such features become available.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
